Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire Nose Clinic Covering: Milton Keynes, Northampton, Oxford, Reading, Swindon & Cheltenham

The Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire Nose Clinic offers Cosmetic Rhinoplasty and a full range of treatments to manage all nose and sinus disorders.

Based at the BMI Saxon Clinic, Milton Keynes, and the New Foscote Hospital, Banbury, the Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire Nose Clinic is  run by Mr. Mark Draper, Consultant ENT Surgeon with a specialist interest in cosmetic rhinoplasty and nose/sinus disorders.

Mr. Draper uses the latest in diagnostic endoscopic nasal/sinus equipment and provides a comprehensive investigative service for nose and sinus disorders affecting both adults and children.

Equipment available:

  • Nasal / sinus endoscopy – rigid and flexible nasal endoscopy using fine endoscopes.
  • Digital Photographic image manipulation – used (if appropriate) as an aid to cosmetic surgery consultation.

Testing available:

  • Allergy testing – is available on-site and may provide a result within 15 minutes for common air-based allergies (e.g. grass pollen, house dust mite, animal fur).
  • We are able to offer both skin-prick allergy testing or the latest blood tests for allergy (for those unable to discontinue antihistamine or steroid treatment for skin-prick testing).
  • Smell testing –  smell disorders can be tested to provide information / confirmation of the presence/absence of sense of smell and the degree of deficit.

Cosmetic Surgery:

Mr. Draper has a special interest in rhinoplasty. He will listen to your wishes / concerns and explain what changes can be made to your nose to achieve your aim. As a nasal/sinus surgeon with an interest in Rhinoplasty, Mr. Draper is ideally placed to advise you regarding functional (blockage / breathing) aspects of any proposed surgery as well as cosmetic expectations.

Photos of patients appear on this website, however a more extensive portfolio of patient photos is available on request during your consultation.

Photos can be taken during the consultation and digital image manipulation software can be used as an aid to show you what may be achieved with surgery to your nose.

Mr. Draper prides himself in his approachable and honest manner. You need to be confident in your surgeon. There will be plenty of time during the consultation process to answer any questions that you may have.

Cosmetic procedures will (generally) not be covered by Private Medical Insurance.

Mr. Draper will not charge for an initial outpatient consultation for cosmetic surgery, and you may return to discuss any further points prior to your surgery without charge. It is very important that you are fully informed and happy about the plan and expectations of cosmetic surgery.

After you decide to proceed to surgery, you will be supplied with a fully itemised quote for the operation.

Nasal Allergy:

In addition to Allergy testing (see above), Mr. Draper can advise you regarding the latest and most effective treatments for nasal allergy, hayfever and allergic rhinitis.

Sublingual immunotherapy for hayfever (and other allergies) is available (dissolvable tablets or droplets under the tongue). This is the latest, and least invasive form of desensitisation treatment for allergy and can be used in both adults and children without any needles or injections. Mr. Draper will be able to guide you as to whether this type of treatment is appropriate.
